Festival Host
The Black Cat of Tucson, Miss Ajia Simone; fierce mane tamer at A Head of Style by day and diva illusionist by night, hosts this year’s Film Festivities. Miss Ajia is well known for her Gospel Brunches as well as her regular performances for charity and community events. Playing outrageously funny roles to bluesy, sexy ones, the Black Cat will keep you laughing with her sassy attitude and momma’s good looks. Opening Night & Party
We will be screening the cream of the crop on Opening Night – these films scored high with our judges. There will be an intermission in this program. Enjoy free food and a drink at the Opening Night Party, hosted by Ajia Simone.
Centerpiece Program
Our Centerpiece program, hosted by Ajia, includes the films created by Southwest filmmakers. Mingle with filmmakers and guests after the program — everyone receives a free drink.
Closing Night Party
Come help us close out the film festival! Enjoy our fabulous host Keith Price, comedian and Sirius XM Radio show personality, for a taste of his stand up routine. Keith will be our emcee for the Awards and Silent Auction as well. Mingle with the filmmakers and enjoy some food and drinks!
